Netscape Communicator - Complete the following steps to download the root certificate using Netscape Communicator:

Launch Netscape Communicator. |

Navigate to the IdenTrust website to download the Root Certificate under Support and then Download Menu: http://IdenTrust.com/Support/Downloads |

Click the "Download DST Root Certificate" link. The TrustID Root Certificate Download page appears. |

Click the "Install Trust Source Root Certificate for your Web Browser" link. The Certificate Chain Download Instructions appear. |

Print the instructions by clicking the Print button in your browser's toolbar. |

Click the link that says "Install Netscape Navigator Root Certificate Chain File." |
| |

The New Certificate Authority window appears. |
| |

Click the Next button. A page appears providing information about the function of a Certificate Authority. |

Click the Next button again. A page appears providing information about the certificate you are about to download. |
| |

Click the Next button again.

In the window that asks, "Are you willing to accept this Certificate Authority...?", place checks in all three boxes. |

Click the Next button.

Do NOT check the "Warn me before sending information to sites certified by this Certificate Authority" box.
Note: It is not necessary to check the box because by downloading the root certificate, you have chosen to accept and trust this CA and all certificates issued by it.

Click the Next button.

Enter "DST Root CA X1" in the Name box.

Click the Finish button to complete the process.
